Despite a few drawbacks, our Christmas stay at a charming cabaña proved to be quite enjoyable. the cabin itself was clean and provided all the necessary amenities, including a mosquito net and warm water - a relief in the tropical climate. the Wi-Fi connection was surprisingly reliable, allowing us to stay connected during our holiday.

the lack of storage space in the cabaña was quite inconvenient. It would have been helpful to have some shelves or hooks to hang our clothes and keep our belongings organized.

The huts at Cabanas Chaac Calakmul were better than we expected, with modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. The owners were friendly and helpful, and free drinking water was provided. We were able to park our car right in front of our cabana. Plus, the hot shower and good WiFi were a bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed at Cabanas Chaac in Xpujil for a quick overnight stop and it was perfect. The simple bungalow-style accommodation was comfortable and the check-in process was a breeze. The friendly host even helped arrange cheaper transportation to Calakmul for me and another guest. I loved the convenient location, with off-street parking and a peaceful garden to relax in. Plus, there's a delicious bakery just across the street!
